ICPR 2010 Paper Presentation Instructions for Authors
Each paper (oral or poster) appearing in the ICPR 2010 technical program must be presented by an author at the conference.
IAPR/IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore)
if the paper is not presented at the technical meeting. In particular, a paper accepted for the ICPR 2010
technical program will not be published on IEEE Xplore if its authors or a proxy do not present the paper at the conference.

Oral Presentations
Each paper in an oral session is allocated 20 minutes. This includes time required for introduction of the speaker, as well as time for questions from the audience. Therefore authors are advised to prepare a 16-17-minute talk, and leave some time for questions at the end.
Each lecture room will be equipped with a computer and a data projector. Files containing the presentations will be distributed to the computer in each room from a central server. Authors need to copy their presentations to the central server located in the "Fatih" rooms well in advance of the sessions in which their paper will be presented.
Authors needing any special audio or visual equipment must contact the conference secretariat at secretariat icpr2010.org by August 9, 2010 to indicate their request. There might be an extra cost of such additional equipment.
Poster Presentations
Each paper in a poster session will be provided with a board that can hold a poster up to 120 cm x 180 cm (3.9 ft x 5.9 ft) in landscape (horizontal) format. Adhesive material will be provided for mounting the posters to the boards. A presenting author is expected to be available in front of the poster for the entire duration of the poster session. There will be no summaries given at the start of the poster sessions, so authors do not need to prepare any slides for a paper in a poster session.
Authors needing any special audio, visual, or other equipment to be used during their poster presentation must contact the conference secretariat at secretariat icpr2010.org by August 9, 2010 to indicate their request.
